Founded by Mike and Lambrey, two professionals from demanding backgrounds—Mike with experience in engineering and property maintenance, and Lambrey from the healthcare and local cleaning industries—the company grew from a shared frustration with impersonal service and a vision for something better.
They saw a need for a company that did more than just clean or fix things. A company that would genuinely care for vacation rentals, investment homes, and cherished second properties with the same attention to detail and pride that owners themselves would bring. Cleaning and maintenance go hand in hand, and their approach blends reliability, responsiveness, and a deep respect for each client’s space.
What began as a two-person operation quickly grew through word of mouth and an unwavering commitment to excellence. With family and trusted partners joining early on, Mountaineer Cleaning and Maintenance steadily expanded its client base and team. By 2017, the company had hired its first whole crew, and today operates from a state-of-the-art 15,000-square-foot facility in the heart of the Smokies.
